Brett Clements

Principal Osteopath

Brett Clements is the principal osteopath at Wyndham Osteopathy. Brett’s passion for osteopathy began 18 years ago, graduating from Victoria University with a Bachelor degree in Clinical Science and a Masters in Health Science.

Brett completed his Master’s research thesis on neck pain and headaches, studying the best methods for treatment and management of these conditions and developed specialised techniques to address these concerns.
Brett has a keen interest in treating a range of conditions, including;

  • Mechanical neck and back pain
  • Complex and challenging biomechanical imbalances
  • Acute strains associated with sports injuries
  • Ongoing management of longstanding complaints

Brett’s treatments are effective and based on structural and functional osteopathic techniques which involve the targeted utilisation of joint mobilisation, soft-tissue, muscle energy and functional techniques, as specifically required.

Brett’s keen interest in new developments within the manual therapy profession led him to extend his expertise in dry needling techniques which provides fast and effective relief for acute muscular complaints and injuries.

Outside of his osteopathic practice, Brett enjoys golf, weight-based training and running.

Simone Licciardi

Simone graduated RMIT University with a double Bachelor of Health Science/Applied Science (Osteopathy). Simone has had previous training as a remedial massage therapist as well as holding qualifications for neuromuscular dry needling, cupping and taping.

As an Osteopath, Simone believes that involving the patient in the treatment and an active recovery is essential for getting the patient back to their daily activities. Simone has a keen interest in treating and managing neck pain and associated headaches as well as a wide variety of sporting injuries. She uses a range of techniques in her treatments including soft tissue techniques, stretching as well as joint articulation and mobilisation.

Over the years Simone has participated in an assortment of sports including; swimming, soccer, triathlon and water polo to name a few.

When Simone is not at work she likes to stay active by going to the gym and playing soccer for PEGS Soccer Club.

Shaun Kostizen

Shaun recently graduated from RMIT University with a bachelor’s degree in Health Science and Applied Science (Osteopathy). Shaun holds qualifications for dry needling, cupping and taping. His passion for Osteopathy is driven by his keen interest in sports, health and his caring nature.

As an osteopath, Shaun believes in a holistic treatment approach to help and support patients reach their goals. Shaun has a keen interest in treating a variety of conditions and utilises both direct and indirect techniques

Outside of the clinic, Shaun enjoys an active lifestyle that includes, gym, bush walking and playing for a local football team. He also enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
